At Grovega, we keep this simple: we only collect the data we need to run the service, we protect it, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Grovega is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform. This policy applies to Grovega and our websites.
Depending on where you are located, your data is controlled by:
For users in India: HND Solutions Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
For users in the United States and elsewhere: Gohnd LLC, United States.

2. The two kinds of data we handle
(a) Your account data, we are the controller. When you sign up and use Grovega, we collect and control data about you (your name, email, and so on) to provide the service.
(b) The data you store in Grovega, you are the controller, we are the processor. When you add your own contacts, leads, and customers into Grovega, that data belongs to you. You decide what goes in and why. We only process it on your behalf to provide the service, we do not use it for our own purposes, and we never sell it. You are responsible for having the right to store that data and for informing your own contacts as required by law.
3. What we collect
Account and profile: name, email, phone number, business name, business type, and password.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers (see Section 6). We do not store full card details ourselves.
Data you enter into Grovega: the contacts, leads, notes, and records you choose to store.
Usage and device data: how you use the product, browser type, device, and IP address, collected through the analytics tools listed in Section 5.
Communications: messages you send us (for example, through our contact form or support@grovega.com).
4. How we use your data
To provide, maintain, and improve Grovega.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To respond to your questions and provide support.
To send important service messages (for example, security or billing notices).
To understand how the product is used so we can make it better.
To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the data you store in Grovega for advertising.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and to understand how our website and product are used. The tools we use include:
Google Analytics, website usage and traffic analysis.
Google Ads, measuring and improving our advertising.
Meta Ads (Pixel), measuring and improving our advertising.
Microsoft Clarity, understanding how visitors use our site, including session recordings of on-site behavior.
PostHog, product analytics to understand how features are used.
You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie consent banner and your browser settings.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only with trusted providers who help us run the service:
Payment processing: Razorpay (for India) and Stripe (for the US and elsewhere).
Hosting and infrastructure: our servers, located in India.
Analytics providers: as listed in Section 5.
Email provider: Resend, for service and transactional email.
Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We require these providers to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. We never sell your data.
7. Where your data is stored
Your data is primarily stored on secure servers located in India. If you are located outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India (and, where relevant, handled by Gohnd LLC in the United States). We take steps to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When your account is closed, cancelled, or discontinued, we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it or reactivate, and then we permanently delete it, except where we are required to keep certain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your data, including the right to:
Access the data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email support@grovega.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
10. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required by law.
11. Children
Grovega is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version.
